HaleyTek - Software Developer – WiFi/Bluetooth Integration

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to work on WiFi and Bluetooth integration for our automotive infotainment systems. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards such as Bluetooth SIG, WiFi Alliance, and Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS). Your work will directly contribute to creating robust, certified solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain software solutions for WiFi and Bluetooth modules.
  • Collaborate with hardware suppliers to ensure firmware compatibility with SoC BSP baselines and updates.
  • Work on the development and debugging of the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) for Android Automotive OS.
  • Ensure software and firmware meet Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance certification requirements.
  • Support the integration of WiFi/Bluetooth solutions into Android-based infotainment systems.
  • Assist in passing Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) for WiFi/Bluetooth modules.
  • Provide support for debugging and issue resolution during development and testing phases.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration guides and APIs.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Strong programming experience in C/C++ and/or Java.
  • Experience with WiFi and Bluetooth technologies, protocols, and standards.
  • Familiarity Android BT/WIFI Stack.
  • Knowledge of Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL).
  • Proven track record in debugging and troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with certification processes such as Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance.
  • Familiarity with Android Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) and related compliance testing.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or working with embedded systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git / Gerrit).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
