We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our client in Luxembourg.
Location: Luxembourg
Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility, aligned with current legislation
Contract: CDI (Permanent contract) open to freelancers as well
Language requirement: Fluent French and English.
Salary: To be discussed.
Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed test cases, ensuring accuracy across functional, technical, and non-functional scenarios such as security and performance
- Prepare clear and concise test reports, providing stakeholders with actionable insights
- Contribute to defining the testing strategy and shaping structured test plans
- Collaborate with business analysts to design and document comprehensive test cases
- Support the preparation and delivery of technical testing phases, including security and performance validation
- Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to ensure alignment and effective knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Proven track record of contributing to Agile projects, with hands-on involvement across the full lifecycle
- Strong analytical mindset, able to quickly identify, assess, and resolve issues raised by business or technical teams
- Mandatory experience within banking industry, with particular expertise in payment products and services
- Practical experience with application testing, supported by a solid grounding in quality assurance methodologies
- Technical proficiency in SQL querying and working with XML data formats
- Confident user of Jira, Quality Center, and Microsoft Office tools to support daily operations and project delivery
- Skilled at navigating banking operations systems and managing processes linked to payment services
- Digitally literate, with a strong ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
- Collaborative team player, committed to achieving collective goals while maintaining high individual standards
