Junior Data Scientist

The Role

• We’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist who is eager to learn, experiment, and develop their skills. You’ll work on projects that involve cleaning and exploring data, building basic predictive models, and supporting senior colleagues with analysis and reporting. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a willingness to learn, and some exposure to data science tools and methods.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis.
• Support the development of simple machine learning models and data visualisations.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and analysts on projects and research.
• Present insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously learn and upskill in Python, SQL, statistics, and data science best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or similar) OR equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib) or R.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine curiosity for data.
• A growth mindset with eagerness to learn from feedback and training.
