Sr Java Developer

Java Developer - Toronto (4 Days onsite) 8-10 years Exp
Please do not submit any resume w/o strong Kafka experience.
• Produce high quality code which is functional and maintainable
• Interact with business sponsors to help gather requirements
• Participate in the development process for gathering requirements, implementing and releasing applications
• Assist the first line support team in resolving production issues when called upon
• Impart knowledge and benefit of experience to other members of the team
Must Have:
Strong Linux OS and Bash scripting experience
Must Have: Proficient in Java and Spring Frameworks
• Must Have: Proficient in Frontend Technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks ( Angular preferred)
• Must Have: Proficient in SQL Scripting ( Oracle Database experience preferred)
• Good to Have:
Some exposure to Python and Big Data Technologies ( Apache Spark with Scala)
• Able to learn new programming languages quickly and efficiently
• Ability to seek improvements to all aspects of development process
• Knowledge in computing in general and ability to problem solve
Skills:
Kafka,Java, Springboot, SQL, HTML, CSS3, BigData, Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript, Angular, Bash scripting, LinuxOS~Unix / Linux Basics and Commands
