Software Architect (AWS)

Location: Kuopio, Finland (In-office once a week preferred)

Salary: €6,000–€7,500/month

Bonus: Up to 2x monthly salary annually

Our client, a market leader in end-to-end invoicing solutions, is seeking an experienced Software Architect to join their team and elevate their flagship platform. The role focuses on shaping the future of a complex, actively developed platform, blending legacy code with modern cloud-based technologies.

About the Role

As a Software Architect, you will work closely with development and product teams to tackle challenging tasks related to the platform's new and existing features. Your responsibilities include:

• Introducing new technologies and ideas to enhance the platform.
• Planning, prototyping, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Leading by example and mentoring other developers to achieve excellence in software development.
• Managing and optimizing production workloads within an AWS environment.
• Developing and maintaining long-lifecycle services with various data stores.

This is an opportunity to work on an innovative platform hosted on AWS, utilizing technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, React, Docker, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, and more.

Must-Have Skills

• Expertise in AWS services like S3, Docker, DynamoDB, Redshift, and Lambda.
• Programming experience with PHP, JavaScript, and React.
• Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Proven experience in scaling and securing cloud-based platforms.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to guide development teams.

Preferred Profile

• Familiarity with legacy codebases (PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap).
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of tasks.
