Job Title: Junior Fixed-Network Engineer - Graduate Program

Job Location: Rijswijk, The Netherlands

Important: To be considered for this role, applicants must be eligible to work and live in The Netherlands already, which means having permanent work authorisation in The Netherlands.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support project delivery by taking ownership of solution design, including both high-level and low-level designs, ensuring the solution is competitive, cost-effective, and high-quality.
• Ensure all designs and solutions are fully aligned with customer requirements and standards.
• Engage in technical discussions with customers, present Huawei’s solutions, demonstrate value, and align on scope and design through workshops and clarifications.
• Support project rollout by preparing installation guidelines, on-site handbooks, and installation quality acceptance criteria.
• Provide on-site support to subcontractors during installation, offering solution clarifications, conducting quality audits, and ensuring all activities comply with the approved designs and quality standards.
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Information and Communication Engineering or related field.
• Solid knowledge of IP networks, IT, and optical networks
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively influence discussions with customers and subcontractors.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a good understanding of social etiquette; poised, culturally adaptable, and able to navigate diverse environments with optimism, tolerance, and an open mindset.
