Frontend Developer

Our retail client is looking for a Frontend Developer to work hybrid out of Malmo:

• This assignment includes development of templates with strong focus on accessibility, HTML semantics and performance.
• This includes being creative in allowing the templates to be flexible and customizable through the content management system.
• Another focus of the assignment is to further develop tools and features to aid management of a web ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Proficient in front-end development and good understanding of web markup semantics.
• Experience in multiple front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Svelte, Vue and understand differences between them.
• Experience in animation libraries such as GSAP and how to optimize animations.
• Understanding of core web vitals and experience in web optimization.
• Understanding of CSR vs SSR vs SSG (client-side rendering, server-side rendering and server-side generation).
• Understanding of SEO and accessibility principles.

Furthermore, the candidate should meet the following expectations:

• Good knowledge of software development workflows such as git, reviews and release flows
• Good knowledge of best practices in software development
• Knowledge of common and frequently used cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of the complexities a global system can bring.
• Interest and ability to stay up to date with latest trends and future technical solutions and their role in a commercial environment.
• Ability to understand, prioritise and make conscious decisions to maximise the benefit for our customers and co-workers.
• Interest in understanding the holistic picture of the technology roadmap and ability to navigate in complexities.
• Be able to navigate and prioritise in a fast-paced, changing environment with changing preconditions.
• Able to explain choices and decisions to everyone in a team in an engaging way.
• Ability to write testable, clean and maintainable code.
• Interest for solving problems and creating efficiency in development.
• Finding simple solutions to complex problems.
• Contributing to overall success and results through collaboration.
• Curiosity, passion and energy to learn and develop every day.
