About the Role
As Payments Product Manager, you’ll define and execute the payments product strategy, ensuring the organisation delivers best-in-class solutions across NPP, PayID, PayTo, BPay, and Open Banking. Reporting to the COO, you’ll own the roadmap, partner with Technology and Risk to deliver scalable platforms, and engage with regulators and industry forums to position the organisation at the forefront of payments innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead payments strategy and roadmap across multiple schemes
- Deliver new payment capabilities in line with customer and regulatory needs
- Partner with Technology, Operations, and Risk on product design and delivery
- Analyse payments markets, regulation, and competitor offerings
- Represent the organisation externally with regulators and industry forums
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in payments product management within banking, fintech, or payments providers
- Strong knowledge of the Australian payments ecosystem and regulation
- Proven track record in delivering payments innovations in agile environments
- Skilled in stakeholder management, vendor engagement, and commercial delivery
- Customer-driven, innovative, and comfortable working in a growth environment
