Senior Project Lead – Offensive Security

Location: Belgium (Hybrid – 8 days/month on site)

Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Daily Rate: €600 - €800 per day

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Lead to drive offensive security projects within a highly regulated financial environment.

This role is a blend of cybersecurity knowledge and project management expertise. You will coordinate small, specialized teams and oversee end-to-end delivery of red teaming, penetration testing, and adversary simulation initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of offensive security projects.
• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and risk management approaches.
• Manage small, specialized project teams (< 5 people) and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Ensure delivery within agreed time, quality, and budget parameters.
• Act as the bridge between offensive security experts, business stakeholders, and senior management.
• Provide clear progress reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of offensive security capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Project Lead in IT or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of offensive security disciplines (red teaming, penetration testing, vulnerability exploitation).
• Background delivering projects in complex, regulated industries (financial services experience is a plus).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Recognised project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Agile) is desirable.
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is an advantage).
