Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-minded Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This role will focus on triaging, prioritizing, and driving remediation of cloud security findings identified through industry CNAAP platform, particularly within the Configuration and Compliance module. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical cloud expertise, security acumen, and operational discipline to ensure our cloud environments remain secure, compliant, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and classify CNAPP findings (CSPM, CIEM, CWP) based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
  • Identify false positives and provide evidence-based justifications for exceptions.
  • Use tagging, CMDB, and ownership metadata to assign findings to appropriate remediation teams.
  • Collaborate with workload owners, CCoE, and Security Risk & Compliance (SRC) teams to ensure timely resolution of findings.
  • Track remediation progress against timelines defined in the Cloud Vulnerability Management Directive.
  • Participate in recurring remediation planning and review meetings.
  • Maintain and enhance alerting frameworks for misconfigurations and policy violations.
  • Integrate CNAPP with ServiceNow and SOAR tools to automate ticketing and escalation workflows.
  • Align remediation efforts with internal directives (e.g., Cloud Operating Directive) and external frameworks (e.g., CSA CCM, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53).
  • Support audit and compliance reporting by maintaining accurate records of findings and resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud security roles.
  • Deep expertise in AWS services (IAM, Lambda, EC2, Config, CloudTrail, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Wiz CNAPP or similar platforms (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Orca, Lacework).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CSA CCM, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with ServiceNow VR module and SOAR tools (e.g., Splunk Phantom, Cortex XSOAR).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a regulated or enterprise-scale cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance models and resource authority matrices.
