Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced backend engineer with strong expertise in Java, Kubernetes (K8s), and PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and microservices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications.
- Implement best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL including query optimization and schema design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Helm, GitOps, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge in Wealth Management (WM) systems.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
