Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Full Time - 5 Days on site


We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our switchboard manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end projects, from client handover through to final delivery, ensuring that switchboard projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the key liaison between clients, engineers, production teams, and contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage switchboard projects from initial planning through to delivery and commissioning.
  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company quality processes.
  • Oversee procurement of components and materials required for switchboard builds.
  • Manage documentation, including drawings, project reports, and handover files.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and customer satisfaction.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in switchboard manufacturing, electrical engineering, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchboards, switchgear, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Background in electrical engineering, project engineering, or production coordination.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (e.g., AS/NZS 61439) is highly regarded.
