Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data pipelines for efficient ETL processes and source relevant datasets
- Analyse and interpret data to find actionable insights and trends
- Enhance data by integrating third-party information and improving collection procedures
- Design and refine machine learning models, including the use of LLMs
- Develop and implement natural language processing (NLP) models for text analysis, sentiment analysis, and other language-based insights
- Create recommendation systems for tasks like fraud detection and time series analysis
- Implement A/B testing procedures and automated scoring systems
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings to stakeholders
- Ensure the effectiveness of models, including ML and NLP models, through testing and refinements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions
- Work with developers to put analytical and NLP models into production
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
- Proficient in R, Python, SQL, Java, and familiarity with Scala or C++
- Experience with data manipulation tools like SQL, Excel, pandas
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ML methods
- Solid background in statistics and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in development tools like Jupyter Notebook, PyCharm, and Git
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and NoSQL databases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
