Are you a true hands-on BGP Routing expert looking for your next step?


For our client, an international leader in the area of media and entertainment, we are looking for a Network Engineer specialized in Routing and BGP protocols.


Salary: 75-80.000€

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany


Your Tasks

  • Operate and optimize BGP-based WAN routing across multiple international sites
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF in production environments
  • Build and maintain redundant BGP connections with carriers and providers
  • Manage and implement VPNs (IPSec, MPLS, SD-WAN)
  • Work hands-on with routers and switches (installation, cabling, upgrades)
  • Ensure stability, security, and performance of the network


Your Profile

  • Multiple years of hands-on experience with routing protocols, especially BGP
  • Strong knowledge of BGP policies, peering, and route optimization
  • Proven hands-on troubleshooting of typical BGP errors in production environments
  • Experience with OSPF and WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools & documentation (e.g. ServiceNow)
  • Hardware know-how (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc.)
  • Willingness to work hands-on (not only design, but also configuring and cabling)
