We have one open position of DevOps Engineer with one of our client based at Dublin, Ireland. This is a Permanent position. Below is the job description for your reference. Please share your application once you are interested.
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid 3 days per week work from office)
Hiring: Permanent
Mandatory Certification: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support and troubleshooting for applications running on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain deployment templates and containerized solutions.
- Implement health monitoring and resolve issues across OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
- Coordinate with multiple teams for application deployment, scaling, and integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge with support teams.
Core Skills Required:
- Strong experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Hands-on with Unix Scripting (Shell, Ansible); exposure to Jenkins CI/CD.
- Good knowledge of container orchestration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application deployment and monitoring in hybrid or cloud environments.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Java/Python, SpringBoot, NodeJS applications.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka).
- Knowledge of Bitbucket, uDeploy, or similar version control/release tools.
- Experience with Kafka/Confluent administration is a plus.
- Awareness of capacity management, cost optimization, and automation in cloud/container setups.
