Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid 3 days per week work from office)

Hiring: Permanent

Mandatory Certification: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support and troubleshooting for applications running on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain deployment templates and containerized solutions.
• Implement health monitoring and resolve issues across OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
• Coordinate with multiple teams for application deployment, scaling, and integration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge with support teams.

Core Skills Required:

• Strong experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with Unix Scripting (Shell, Ansible); exposure to Jenkins CI/CD.
• Good knowledge of container orchestration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with application deployment and monitoring in hybrid or cloud environments.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Java/Python, SpringBoot, NodeJS applications.
• Familiarity with messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of Bitbucket, uDeploy, or similar version control/release tools.
• Experience with Kafka/Confluent administration is a plus.
• Awareness of capacity management, cost optimization, and automation in cloud/container setups.
