Are you inspired by the intersection of data analytics and energy economics? Make your mark at Nord Pool as our newest Market Surveillance Analyst!

At Nord Pool, Market Surveillance plays a critical role in ensuring fair and transparent electricity trading across Europe. We analyse vast amounts of trading data to detect potential market manipulation and insider trading, helping maintain trust and integrity in the power market. Electricity powers our lives every hour of the day - from charging electric vehicles and heating homes to running industries and streaming music. Behind the scenes, Nord Pool ensures that the most cost-efficient energy sources meet demand, enabling a dynamic and sustainable energy system.

As a Market Surveillance Analyst, you'll dive deep into the mechanics of electricity markets. Your work will span from understanding how market design can influence trading behavior to developing algorithms that detect irregularities. You'll be part of a close-knit team, where collaboration and autonomy go hand in hand. By safeguarding market integrity, you'll help accelerate the climate transition and ensure electricity is used in the best possible way.
