JUNIOR SOFTWARE QUALITY TESTING ENGINEER

Our products are widely used in defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors around the world. We are looking for a Junior Software Quality Testing Engineer to ensure software excellence by conducting systematic manual testing across all development stages, identifying and documenting issues, and working closely with the development team to resolve them effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure manual testing to make sure software meets requirements.
- Reviewing documentation and release notes to help update test scenarios.
- Running manual test cases and performing both scripted and exploratory tests.
- Logging and reporting bugs to the development team.
- Supporting troubleshooting and other quality-related tasks as needed.
- College degree in IT or a related field, or a manual testing certification (e.g., ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent).
- Preferred experience with bug-tracking or testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, test cycles, and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
- Good Latvian and English language skills spoken and written.
