Job Title: Data Engineer – Snowflake

Location: Oslo (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Data Engineers with strong expertise in Snowflake to join a leading IT consultancy, working on an exciting engagement with a major banking client. This is a long-term contracting opportunity, offering hybrid working arrangements in Oslo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions for the banking sector.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are implemented.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of data engineering frameworks and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on knowledge of Snowflake.
• Solid experience in data modeling, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms.
• Prior experience working in consultancy and/or banking environments is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian is essential.

Contract Details:

• 6-month rolling contract (long-term opportunity)
• Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Oslo, 2 days remote
