We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master (13+ years overall experience) with strong exposure to the Banking & Financial Services domain. The candidate will play a key role in driving Agile practices, mentoring teams, and ensuring successful delivery of complex banking technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach multiple Agile teams delivering critical banking transformation programs (Digital Banking, Payments, Core Banking, Risk & Compliance, etc.).
  • Act as a servant leader and Agile coach to promote adoption of Agile practices across business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate and drive Scrum ceremonies, ensuring focus on delivery and value creation.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Banking Stakeholders to ensure alignment of backlog with regulatory, compliance, and business priorities.
  • Remove organizational impediments, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Track delivery progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, release forecasting) to ensure predictability.
  • Guide leadership on Agile transformation strategy within the banking environment.
  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile team members, raising Agile maturity across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 13+ years of total experience in IT/Banking with 8+ years in Agile delivery and at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong domain expertise in Banking / Financial Services (e.g., Core Banking, Payments, Digital Channels, AML/KYC, Treasury, Risk & Compliance).
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale Agile programs within the banking sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications: CSM, PSM II (or higher) required; SAFe Agilist / Agile Coach certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multicultural banking environments.
