Junior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to apply analytical skills to solve real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and insights.

Assist in building predictive models and machine learning algorithms.

Collaborate with senior data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Document findings and prepare visualizations/reports for internal teams.

Stay updated on emerging data science tools, techniques, and trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of Python or R and basic understanding of SQL.

Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow (a plus).

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred (but not required)

Internship or project experience in data analysis or machine learning.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib).
