BroadPress is a next-generation corporate CMS and a powerful WordPress alternative, built for enterprises demanding speed, reliability, and scalability. Developed on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) with Cloudinary integration, it ensures high performance, flexibility, and optimized media management for content-heavy websites.

We are looking for passionate candidates to join this mega project through a remote internship where candidates can access great opportunities to learn, lead, and contribute while sharpening skills in real-world projects. Interns will work with developers on open-source initiatives, optimize performance, integrate APIs, work with modern databases, know the latest technologies of the modern IT industry and gain hands-on experience building responsive, scalable web applications.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Assist in designing and refining user interfaces for web/ mobile applications.
• Work with developers to translate design concepts into functional UI components.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve design decisions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Ensure consistency in design systems and maintain UI guidelines.
• Optimize web interfaces for responsiveness and accessibility.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration of UI/UX elements.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices.

Preferred Skills or Interest

• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD), usability principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design to create intuitive user experiences.
• Knowledge of design systems, typography, color theory, and layout composition for consistent branding.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design best practices.
• Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to improve product design.
• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and design collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, or Notion.
• Bonus: Exposure to front-end frameworks (React.js, Tailwind CSS, Material-UI) for better design handoff.
