We are building a mobile app that helps users track their daily wellness goals, including exercise, diet, and mental health. Our goal is to create an easy-to-use and engaging experience for users while delivering all the necessary features with a sleek, modern design.
Profile Sought
Strong skills in user interface (UI) design, with a focus on mobile applications.
Expertise in user experience (UX) design, especially in creating intuitive, user-friendly flows.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Ability to collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the design meets user needs and business goals.
A creative thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality, visually appealing designs.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the product team to understand user needs and design requirements.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for the mobile app.
Conduct usability testing and make design improvements based on feedback.
Ensure the design is consistent across all platforms (iOS/Android).
Develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistent styling.
Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented as intended.
Typical Week Timeline
Monday
Kick-off meeting with the product team to discuss the week’s priorities.
Begin working on wireframes for new app features.
Tuesday
Collaborate with developers to review and refine the UI components.
Conduct a team review of initial design concepts and gather feedback.
Wednesday
Begin building prototypes based on wireframes and design feedback.
Test prototypes with a small group of users to gather insights.
Thursday
Review usability testing results and iterate on design based on feedback.
Finalize UI designs for upcoming sprint and prepare for handoff to development.
Friday
Conduct a team meeting to review the progress of designs and discuss the upcoming sprint.
Plan for next week’s tasks and design goals.
