The CIO will be responsible for shaping the company’s innovation agenda, driving product strategy, and building scalable technology platforms that position the business at the forefront of fintech innovation. The role requires a strategic thinker and business partner who can translate future market trends and customer needs into bold yet practical solutions, while inspiring teams to deliver with excellence.
Importantly, the CIO will also oversee and inspire a regional team of 300+ employees across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vision and road mapping, define the long term innovation plan.
- Strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team influencing the company's direction with future focused insights.
- Anticipate and respond to global and regional fintech trends, regulatory shifts and market expectations.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, open banking, embedded finance, etc.) to strengthen market leadership
- Lead and inspire a regional team of 300+ employees across Singapore, Thailand, and other SEA markets, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and experimentation.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a CIO, CTO, CPO, or senior technology/product strategy leadership role within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- 12–15+ years of leadership experience spanning technology execution, product innovation, and corporate strategy.
- Strong track record in strategic planning, vision setting, and influencing at the C-suite/board level.
- Regional exposure in Southeast Asia with experience managing large, multi-country teams (300+ employees preferred).
- Deep expertise in product strategy, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English, with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
