Our client is a French video game company based in Paris. They are currently working on their first major project, a cross-platform large-scale multiplayer game set in a rich universe.
They are looking for a talented and experienced Fullstack Web Developer to join their marketing "tiger-team".
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rolling out websites on the server side and proficiency in multiple front-end and back-end technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the client-facing and server-side components of our web applications.
As a Full-Stack Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying both public and internal websites (official company site, one-pagers, internal data dashboards, etc.) to support the web ecosystem of their game.
Skills and Knowledge:
Front-End:
- Proficiency in HTML5 or CSS3
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and web design best practices
- Experience building responsive websites across PC, mobile, and tablets
- Basic knowledge of data visualization frameworks like D3.js
- Familiarity with 2D editing software (e.g., Photoshop)
Back-End:
- Expertise in Node.js (Express or similar) or GoLang
- Experience with templating engines (Handlebars, EJS, etc.)
- Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong knowledge of web security best practices (authentication, pass encryption, injections, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of website deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
Other requirements:
- Humble attitude and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find creative solutions.
- Clear and open communication, both in French and English.
- A desire to continuously grow, innovate, and stay up-to-date with new web technologies and industry trends.
Bonus Skills (Huge Plus):
- Experience with WebGL or 3D libraries (e.g., three.js, Babylon.js)
- Knowledge of web audio development
