We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who will join the Agency’s dynamic team of core developers working in an agile environment and contributing to the development and integration of software solutions

• Strasbourg, working from the Agency’s comfortable offices.

Job Description:

This role is hands-on and requires strong technical expertise in Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, DB integration, and gRPC. Familiarity with VS Code or lntelliJ, as well as knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers, is highly recommended.

Strong teamwork skills are essential, as you will be part of a collaborative squad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Spring Boot and Java.

• Integrate various systems and databases using Kafka and gRPC.

• Collaborate with team members in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software

solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Work with cloud-based environments and contribute to the ongoing cloud setup.

• Utilize development tools such as VS Code or lntelliJ.

• Implement and manage clusters, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise.

Key Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as a hands-on software developer.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, DB integration, and gRPC.

• Experience working in an agile development environment.

• Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code or lntelliJ.

• Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based environments.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
