Our client is a globally operating company with many years of experience and technical expertise in the design, execution, and commissioning of hydropower plants. To strengthen the team in Vienna, we are seeking a Project Manager in automation technology who will oversee demanding international projects from the planning phase through to successful commissioning.
Job Description
- Manage, plan, implement, commission, and document SCADA automation projects for hydropower plants abroad
- Act as an interface between clients, suppliers, and internal departments
- Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals in sales
- Further develop and maintain project standards, reports, and documentation
- Ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and budget targets
- Drive the continuous enhancement of automation solutions
- Completed technical education in electrical engineering, automation technology, energy engineering, or control engineering (HTL, FH, or TU)
- Several years of professional experience in automation projects
- Experience in project management or technical project management is an advantage
- Knowledge of IT and network technology
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written; German is an advantage but not mandatory
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
- Strong conceptual skills, structured and capable of working on your own
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills combined with initiative
- Minimum annual gross salary of €60,000, with significant overpayment according to qualifications and experience
