Job Description

We are looking for a great Automated Test Engineer to join our close-knit team of experienced Quality Engineers. You will be working directly with the Electronic Device Production company in Finland, who want to convert its legacy platform to a new environment in National Instruments TestStand.

Our tech stack: TestStand, LabVIEW, MS Visual C++, MS Visual C#, MS SQL, GIT.

What you will do:

• Migrate the current client’s automated tests to use the new platform NI TestStand and LabVIEW tools.
• Verify that the tests work correctly with the client’s hardware.
• Verify that the test data is correct in the database (Microsoft SQL).
• Solution-oriented communication with the client.
• Help with fixing issues in tests and optimizing the automated test tools.

You'll Excel in This Role If You have:

• Previous experience with LabVIEW.
• Basic knowledge of automated software testing.
• Knowledge about testing terminology.
• Interest and understanding of devices and embedded systems.
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills (consultative approach when working with clients; ability to present, explain, and defend your point of view).
• Attention to detail, quick learning ability, and a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Have ambition & drive to learn new things in the ever-changing IT industry.

Nice to haves:

• Some knowledge of TestStand.
• Understanding of databases, basic SQL queries.
• Industrial or electronic background.
• Finnish language.
