We work on a project basis (in the EU and beyond), to this day we have already implemented over 320 projects and currently, we are working on another 45 projects. We have a wide range of clients from the financial sector, fintech, government projects, manufacturing companies etc.


WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

  • Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
  • User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
  • Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
  • Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
  • Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

Your first project with Avalanche Labs will be with a leading enterprise bank in the Baltics. They are running a strategic Accessibility Program to ensure that all card-issuing and customer-facing digital services are fully inclusive, compliant, and empowering for people with disabilities (visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive).

Your mission: Take ownership of analyzing card-related digital banking services and customer journeys, identify accessibility gaps against WCAG 2.1+ and translate them into actionable requirements for engineers, validate that accessibility fixes are designed, tested, and delivered correctly.


DO YOU HAVE...

πŸš€ 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst in IT or consulting.

πŸš€ Strong hands-on knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).

πŸš€ Practical experience with accessibility testing tools:

β€’ Screen readers: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver

β€’ Automated checkers: Axe, Wave, Lighthouse

β€’ Color contrast & keyboard navigation validators

πŸš€ Familiarity with assistive technologies and how people with disabilities use digital platforms.

πŸš€ Proven ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, UML diagrams, and test cases in Jira/Confluence.

πŸš€ Hands-on UX collaboration experience with Figma/Sketch.

πŸš€ Ability to work end-to-end: gap analysis β†’ requirement documentation β†’ story creation β†’ engineer handover β†’ validation.


NICE TO HAVE...

✨ Background in banking, cards, or payment systems.

✨ Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services.

✨ Understanding of API testing and backend integration points.

✨ Exposure to usability testing with disabled end-users.


ARE YOU WILLING TO...

πŸ’₯ Work mainly remote, with occasional in-person workshops in local Baltic offices (1–2 times a month) or, if preferred, work on-site at the client's office.
