Job Title: .NET Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, Web APIs, SQL Server, and modern backend development practices. This role requires close collaboration with front-end developers, architects, and business teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Integrate applications with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL).
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure applications comply with IT security and compliance standards.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver iterative enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and containerization is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, Identity Server).
