Cyber Security Tester

I’m partnered with a well-established UK Managed Service Provider that is continuing to strengthen its cyber security capability. They are now looking to add a skilled Cyber Security Tester to their team, someone who can deliver high-quality testing engagements and help clients better understand their risk exposure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on testing, has a sharp eye for detail, and can confidently explain technical vulnerabilities in a way that resonates with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

What you’ll get:

• Up to £60,000 salary package
• Fully remote role, with occasional UK client visits where required
• Exposure to a wide variety of systems and environments across application, infrastructure, and network security
• Ongoing training and support with professional certifications such as CREST
• The chance to lead on client projects as well as contribute individually

What they’re looking for:

• A track record (1–2 years+) in penetration testing, ideally across both web applications and infrastructure
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networks, and common operating systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
• Knowledge of security build reviews and database security practices
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise reports and adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences
• A genuine passion for cyber security and continuous learning
