About us:

Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers who want to completely revolutionize aerospace within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop autonomy for flying vehicles.

Your role:

Contribute to the rapid development of hardware for autonomous flight systems.

What will you do:

  • Design and development of digital and analog Circuits, PCBs and FPGAs including power, sensors, servo, engine control unit, and RF design
  • Circuit analysis, and real-world verification - on the lab bench and in the air.Hands-on involvement in all stages of prototype and product development, from design and validation to implementation and testing
  • Design and implementation of inter- and intrasystem communications solutions (i.e., integrating systems via CAN, UART, USB, I2C, SPI, SSI, RS-232, RS-485, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with both internal stakeholders and external hardware partners
  • Compile and create documents


Preferred Qualifications And Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in hardware design.Experience working within the aerospace domain
  • Experience with designing for EMC
  • Experience with complex SoC designs will be a plus
  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or equivalent practical experience
  • Good understanding of computers and programming languages (at least C/C++, Python, scripting)
  • Ability to work autonomously and achieve goals
