We are looking for a Mid/Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to join our Progress OpenEdge Unit and be a key player in transforming and modernizing our clients' systems. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using Progress OpenEdge.
- Ensure solutions meet high security, performance, and code quality standards.
- Support testing activities and contribute to overall software quality.
- Work as part of a cross-functional Agile Scrum team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Provide L2 support: troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring deep understanding of system functionality.
- Participate in release deployments: plan, execute, and monitor deployments, as well as implement post-release improvements.
- Monitor and improve system and application performance, continuously seeking opportunities for enhancement.
- Contribute to new feature development and continuous product improvement.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Progress OpenEdge.
- Proficiency in Progress OpenEdge ABL (version 11.7 or higher).
- Understanding of deployment and release management processes.
- Fluency in English language (at least B2 level).
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular).
- Hands-on experience in Progress OpenEdge application administration (troubleshooting, monitoring, L2 incident management).
- Experience with web services (REST/SOAP): designing, integrating, and maintaining.
