Anchor Day: Thursday
- Type: Contract
- Duration: 1 Year (Extension and conversion possible based on performance and business needs)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 1 year from start
- Pay Rate: $90-$100 CAD/hour
- Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, core business hours (37.5 hours/week)
- Oversee and enforce enterprise information security frameworks and control methodologies.
- Provide consultation and after-hours support for change monitoring and security incidents when needed.
- Engage in cross-functional initiatives to identify risk and recommend mitigations.
- Author and review technical security specifications (TSS) and internal security documentation.
- Participate in security incident investigations and help design remediation plans.
- Guide business units and stakeholders on implementing security controls.
- Support reviews of endpoint security control requests and security exception approvals.
- Collaborate closely with a tight-knit, experienced team and influence a risk-aware culture.
- Stay updated on emerging security trends and internal tools/technologies.
- 10+ years of professional experience in information security, with deep exposure to Windows environments.
- Background in large-scale enterprise IT or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of meeting deliverables and project deadlines in technical environments.
- Experience working with Jira for ticket tracking.
- Exposure to change management processes.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level IT environments.
- Deep understanding of Windows OS and App Locker functionality.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Experience contributing to the development of security standards and documentation.
- Capability to influence teams across technical and business domains.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional security projects.
- Strong adaptability in fast-paced environments.
