We are hiring a PHP Symfony Developer to join our E-commerce Platform team in Cluj-Napoca!

Who You Are:


You are a pragmatic developer with a strong foundation in PHP and preferably Symfony, driven by curiosity and a passion for clean, scalable code. You thrive in collaborative environments, embrace ambiguity, and bring a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to every challenge.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of development experience.
  • Experience with PHP and Symfony.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience working with RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Experience with unit and functional testing.
  • You have an advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
  • Able to navigate uncertainty, take initiative, and work well with colleagues in different time zones.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an e-commerce environment.
  • Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery or Laravel.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.


What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement new features or modify existing functionality using PHP and Symfony framework.
  • Build and maintain web applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
  • Integrate with RESTful web services and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and support deployment processes.
