Internship in Data Analytics & Visualization (limited 6-9 months, 70-100%, all genders)

Our Data Insights & Analytics Team powers the dashboards and analytics products that help SWISS manage aviation safety, security, and compliance risks. Join us to create visualizations that drive decisions, refine data pipelines that keep insights flowing, and shape our portfolio of analytics tools.

Tasks

You will support risk-related decision-making across SWISS’s operational domains by turning complex data into clear insights. From building dashboards to strengthening pipelines and managing our analytics portfolio, you’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of aviation and data.

• Dashboard Development: Design and enhance dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, focusing on intuitive, impactful storytelling.
• Analytics Portfolio Support: Contribute to managing our data visualization portfolio, ensuring products stay relevant, consistent, and user-focused
• Data Pipelines: Maintain Azure Data Factory and Databricks flows to ensure reliable data for our products.
• Business Requirements: Translate stakeholder needs into visualizations and analytics concepts.
• Communication: Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Research & Development: Explore new approaches in safety and risk analytics, supporting concept development.

Requirements

• Master’s student or graduate with focus on analytics (Data Science, Computer Science, etc…)
• Experience in programming with proficiency in at least one language (e.g. SQL, Python)
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI
• Strong interest in data communication and storytelling
• Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
