Senior DevOps- Site Reliability Engineer

Location and Work Mode: Hybrid (1-2 days from the Warsaw office)

Job Description:

• Provide Level 3 24/7 support for all PPT products, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging across virtual machines and production environments.
• Utilize tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Cassandra, and scripting languages (Python and/or Bash) for monitoring and automation.
• Follow Agile methodology, actively participating in analysis, coding, design, and unit testing phases of projects.
• Offer architectural and practical guidance to development teams to enhance system resiliency, performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor application logs and metrics using Grafana and Splunk, including dashboard creation and alert configuration.
• Work across various operating systems including Unix, Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows.
• Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of multi-tiered web-based enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, and related technologies (e.g., Hibernate, Spring, JDBC, JNDI, IBM MQ Series, SOAP, REST).
• Handle production support activities, including incident management, bug fixing, and cross-functional troubleshooting and flexible with shift schedules and available for on-call support as required.

Mandatory Skills and experience:

• 6+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Monitoring & Scripting: Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Cassandra, Python, Bash
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL
• Backend Development: Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JDBC, JNDI, IBM MQ Series, SOAP, REST
