VitrA Tiles, which constantly develops innovative texture and material solutions, sets the trends in surfaces with its new collections every year. VitrA's tiles with the "TSE Double Star" Certificate also hold the first eco-label given by the European Union to a ceramic brand from Turkey. Our production facility in Bozuyuk has been included in the "Global Lighthouse Network", which the World Economic Forum (WEF) selects as the most advanced production facilities in the world and points out as the "production facility of the future".


We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of robust, scalable, and secure data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, and digital transformation. This role will play a key part in designing and sustaining optimal data architectures, collaborating across IT and business teams, and integrating new technologies into our data ecosystem.


What Do We Expect From Our New Teammate?

  • Design and maintain scalable data systems including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines aligned with enterprise data strategies.
  • Monitor and manage database infrastructure (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), ensuring performance, scalability, and data security.
  • Perform database tuning, indexing, capacity planning, and implement best practices for security and access control.
  • Translate business requirements into governed, high-quality data models; ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.
  • Actively contribute to the design and implementation of optimal data architectures in line with current and future needs.
  • Simplify complex data environments by building cost-effective, reusable, and standardized data services.
  • Evaluate and implement modern technologies such as MS Fabric, DAX, and cloud platforms to enhance data infrastructure.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and data governance forums to ensure consistency and best practices.

What kind of teammate are we looking for?

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Has minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, modeling, warehousing, and database administration.
  • Proficient in Azure Databricks, MS Fabric, PySpark, Power BI, Tableau, and similar tools.
  • Experienced in Python, Java, SQL, and familiar with modern data platforms and real-time data systems (e.g., Kafka, GCP, Snowflake).
  • Preferably experienced with SAP BW and its integration within enterprise data landscapes.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in handling real-time IoT data for timely decision-making.
  • Familiar with entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, and data quality tools and techniques.
  • Brings a strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Embraces continuous learning, especially in areas like ML/AI, data governance, and cloud architecture.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional, agile environments.
