The Head of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity will be responsible for leading the organization's technology infrastructure strategy, operations, and security posture. This role will drive transformation across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments while ensuring resilient, secure, and scalable technology services that enable business growth.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, balancing operational excellence, cybersecurity risk management, and innovation, while leading a team of 5.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Operations
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure (data centers, cloud, networks, servers, storage, workplace technology, collaboration tools).
- Oversee IT operations to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, automation, DevOps practices, digital workplace solutions).
- Establish service delivery models and SLAs with a focus on reliability and customer experience.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Own the cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee security engineering, operations (SOC), incident response, identity & access management, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, MAS TRM, GDPR, etc.) and manage audits/assessments.
- Partner with business and risk stakeholders to manage cyber and technology risks, third-party risks, and resilience.
Leadership & Governance
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team across infrastructure and cybersecurity functions.
- Develop and monitor budgets, investments, and vendor relationships to optimize cost and service quality.
- Establish governance processes, policies, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Act as the key technology and security advisor to executive management and the Board, including communication of risks, incidents, and strategic initiatives.
Innovation & Strategy
- Drive digital transformation through adoption of emerging technologies (cloud, AI/ML, automation, zero-trust security).
- Evaluate and implement innovative solutions to enhance scalability, resilience, and security.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roadmaps with organizational strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity leadership roles.
- Proven track record in designing and operating enterprise-scale infrastructure and security programs.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and enterprise systems.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, and technology investments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
