You’ll join a motivated team that is driving exceptional growth across european markets, whilst having fun at the same time! We’re a company that gives our employees room to grow, rewards creativity, offers flexible hours, and encourages to challenge the status quo. That said, here are some things you'll do:
- Work out new interfaces for our platform where you will work closely with the CTO and CPO to come to the best solution. You'll be receiving constant feedback to guide your work towards a usable deliverable, following coding best practices
- Peer code review will help exchange knowledge and improve your code quality and your colleagues' code
- Work with the latest and hottest open source techs by building reusable Vue 3 components with Typescript and TailwindCSS
- Experiment continuous integration & delivery while having lots of autonomy in code and feature ownership
- Implement experiments for unit testing and find the best solution for a particular problem
- As a part of Renewex's all-hands philosophy, help customers via support to ensure they have the best experience possible. Sometimes you don't have all the answers. But your team always does
- Share what you know and learn either one-on-one or with lightning talks to the group
- Give back to the community via open source and blog posts
- Your focus on frontend will not limit your area for growth at Renewex. Each engineer brings a unique perspective and can contribute differently to all areas. We encourage participation and will frequently have engineers contribute across teams to assist in projects
- You love to code. You love to take raw ideas and build great products with modern progressive framework in large single page application. You know JavaScript is imperfect, but you embrace its practical side and genuinely enjoy coding with it. You might like to talk about obscure computer science topics, but really, you just want to write simple code and ship new products and features to customers (or improve existing ones)
- You love great UX. You spend most of your time coding, but you also have an eye for great design and a feel for great UX. Maybe you were once a designer (or still are) or perhaps your creative outlet has always been the code. Either way, you care about more than just the code
- You love learning new things. You love researching new tech and driving forward with the implementation details. Your focus is on frontend JavaScript code, but you can dig in wherever needed. NodeJS, CSS, build tools, shell scripts, you name it. If you don't already know it, you're ready to learn it
- You can balance lots of concerns. Frontend apps have to take into account performance (using networks and devices that we can't control), customer demands, unit tests, UX research, accessibility, code quality, a rapidly changing ecosystem of languages and modules, and the list goes on. And we want to ship things too! You can balance those demands without getting overwhelmed and keep the needle moving forward
- You love helping others. You love sharing knowledge with the rest of your team, building shared tooling for other engineers, giving back to the open-source community, and directly helping customers
- Work from anywhere on planet earth (with internet access). But you can also come to the company if you are not keen on working alone !
- Choose your own equipment. We'll set you up with whatever Apple or Dell laptop (if you want to be the only PC guy...) + monitor combo you want plus any software you need
- Good code requires good food ==> lunch allowance of 8 €/day but also good training material ==> VueMastery, TailwindUi, Medium accounts and others are available
