Manual QA Engineer
Our trusted high-growth healthcare technology partner is seeking a talented Manual QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. This innovative company is dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through cutting-edge technology solutions.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer with 4+ years of manual testing experience to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performing and user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and acceptance testing.
- Report, track, and manage defects using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
- Document testing results and maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation.
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure system stability after changes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Ensure software meets usability, accessibility, and compliance standards.
- Actively contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, qTest).
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, Mantis).
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation is a plus.
