Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm. We refer top candidates to our partners working with the world’s leading AI research labs to help build and train cutting-edge AI models.


Position: Designers

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $50-$70/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Minimum 1–2 months (with potential for extension)

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week


Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided):

  • Write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.
  • Use your expertise in visual systems, user experiences, or creative strategy to ensure each prompt and response reflects real-world design process thinking, visual literacy, and communication clarity.
  • Help shape how AI understands and simulates multi-modal design workflows across various industries (education, retail, architecture, tech, culture).


Ideal Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in specialized fields such as instructional design, exhibit design, service design, environmental design, or experience design.
  • A bachelor's degree in design, architecture, education, industrial design, interaction design, or a related field.
  • Strong background in creating high-quality visual designs (websites/apps, brand/marketing assets).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exposure to working with LLMs and GenAI prompting.
