Opportunity

We’re hiring a crypto-savvy Product Manager to help us accelerate the growth of the Canton Network ecosystem, and the impact of Digital Asset’s contributions to that ecosystem. You will play a key role in product management of DA’s contributions to open source Splice project, which builds the governance, tokenomics, deployment and operations tooling for the Global Synchronizer on Canton Network. You’ll actively contribute to the work of the Canton Foundation, which coordinates network governance and network-wide operations, including upgrades, migrations, and operational resilience.

To be successful, you need to be an expert in market trends related to institutional adoption of blockchain technology, the kinds of tools and patterns in use on blockchain networks, and the features that will enable institutional adoption at scale. You also need to have the creativity, analytical, communication, and project management skills to use this expertise to coordinate across Digital Asset’s Product, Engineering, and GTM activities, and with the Canton Foundation, to develop a compelling product vision and strategy, and execute on it.

As a Product Manager at Digital Asset, you’ll have the opportunity to work on topics ranging across the development of new on-chain products and services in direct collaboration with market participants, enabling partners to bring their existing blockchain services to Canton Network, and providing financial service providers, up to and including international FMIs and top10 investment banks, with a next-generation financial markets infrastrustructure.

Responsibilities

• Join the product team building out Digital Asset’s products and technologies moving finance on-chain at scale.
• Product manage Digital Asset’s contributions to the Splice open source codebase, supporting Canton Network infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with network operators and the Canton Foundation to govern and operate the Canton Network.
• Collaborate closely with other functions across the company to achieve alignment around the product strategy, customer and user experiences, and optimal commercial outcomes.
• Be the voice of customers to engineering and the voice of engineering in customer conversations. Build close relationships with Digital Asset’s network partners, to both deepen adoption and gain insights on their needs and preferences.
• Own the requirements and prioritization of the roadmap and work with both internal and external stakeholders to produce, evaluate, and execute on product and feature designs that drive product vision and delight customers.
• Manage customer expectations. Quickly identify inconsistencies between engineering artifacts and customer expectations, and adjust to regain alignment.
• Work closely with ecosystem partners and enable them to bring their products and services to Canton Network.

Key Criteria

• Skill in identifying long-term trends in technology development, commercialization and adoption.
• Product Management experience at the strategic and commercial level in software. Preference given to candidates with experience in:
• Ecosystem/Network projects, especially in blockchain/crypto/web3
• Blockchain projects in institutional - ideally regulated - space.
• Developer/Builder targeted products.
• Financial services and/or capital markets
• Engineering, physics, or computer science background, with hands-on software development experience at some point in your career.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Track record of working effectively and successfully with engineering teams.
• Strong track record of generating and maintaining meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
