Scope of role

We are seeking a dedicated System Verification Engineer to join our customer's team within the Electrical & Software Architecture department. This role focuses on V6 vehicle-level testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of our connectivity systems in real-world vehicle environments. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong passion for test and verification, enjoy fault tracing and bug fixing, and be capable of building a professional network within the automotive testing domain. You will be responsible for testing software on V6 vehicle platforms, contributing to the validation of our connectivity fleet management system.

Responsibilities

• V6 vehicle-level testing in test rigs and on actual vehicles
• Fault tracing and diagnostics at vehicle level
• Develop, write, execute, and report test cases based on system requirements
• Bug identification and fixes
• Ensuring quality and system readiness before release
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate system performance in real vehicle conditions
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis during vehicle testing

Knowledge/Experience

• BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent (highly valuable)
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within an experienced team
• Programming experience (preferably Python or CAPL)
• Experience with test and verification in vehicle or rig environments
• Strong fault tracing and diagnostic skills at vehicle level
• T-shaped mindset with broad technical knowledge and specialized expertise
• Experience with CANalyzer and CANoe
• Fluent in Swedish language
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and vehicle network architecture
• Experience with V6 vehicle platforms and systems
