About

Job Description

Join our team and support our aim to help make the complex world of environmental data both simple and accessible. In this role, you will work with product managers, LCA experts, and software developers to lead the UX & UI Design of our data publication software.

As a Senior Product Designer, you are empathetic and creative, with a strong focus on accessibility and user-centered design. You excel at translating complex data into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in UX & UI Design. You will work with collaborators of mixed backgrounds, so good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and a can-do attitude are essential. Managing various, diverse tasks at the same time does not phase you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Creating user journeys, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and ideas using Figma
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Conducting user research & discovery with our Product team to gather feedback and insights and help drive product direction
  • Building out and maintaining ecoinvent’s design system
  • Cooperating effectively with cross-functional partners across multiple teams

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience working as a UI/UX Designer
  • Experience with Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design
  • Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, accessible experiences
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience building design systems is a plus
  • Experience with user research and testing is a plus
  • A passion for sustainability is a plus
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken communication) is essential
