Our client, a renowned main contractor firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a M&E Design Manager

Responsibilities

  • Execute design and supervision work for commissioned projects in line with construction quality assurance systems.
  • Develop and oversee design documentation that meets client requirements
  • Direct supervision activities to ensure compliance with approved design standards.
  • Consolidate and analyze project information, report findings, and support the resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance design-related technologies and apply them in projects.
  • Translate departmental strategies and policies into actionable project execution plans.
  • Review existing processes and propose improvements to optimize design execution.
  • Engage in continuous dialogue with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consensus on project objectives.
  • Participate in defect resolution teams and provide strategic input to address client complaints and quality concerns.
  • Prepare and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP services.
  • Generate and maintain BIM documentation, progress reports, and lessons-learned records.
  • Update and maintain the MEP Handbook and technical library to ensure compliance with codes and best practices.
  • Propose innovative technical solutions and value-added design alternatives to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Solid experience in MEP design and project coordination, with exposure to supervision works.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and related engineering disciplines.
  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation, BIM documentation, and project reporting.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Quality-driven, systematic, and able to lead teams effectively.

  • Location: East
  • Working hours: 5 Days
  • Salary: up to S$7,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
