RSI Europe is a quickly growing Lithuanian capital technology company developing products for the Defense industry with the goal to strengthen regional security in Eastern NATO flank by bringing the latest developments in the Internet of Things (IoT) to the military field.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of strategic defence and R&D projects — from initial concept through to successful completion.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with European Defence Fund (EDF), Horizon Europe/H2020, DIANA, or similar EU-funded programmes. You are comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment, able to structure complex work packages, budgets, and resource plans, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit project applications under EDF, Horizon Europe, DIANA, and other EU funding programmes.
- Design and manage work package structures, budget allocations, Gantt charts, and human resource assignments.
- Lead and manage projects throughout the full lifecycle – from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (software, electronics, mechanical, QA, etc.) and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Oversee day-to-day project implementation, including milestone tracking and deliverable preparation.
- Draft and submit technical and financial reports to funding agencies.
- Ensure compliance with EU project management frameworks, guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Facilitate clear communication between engineers, management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree in Project Management, Public Administration, European Studies, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing or preparing EU/EFD-funded projects (EDF, Horizon, DIANA, or similar).
- Excellent knowledge of EU project funding procedures, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong skills in project planning, drafting applications, work breakdown structures, and financial tracking.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
What We Offer
- A unique opportunity to join a fast-growing defence technology company in its scaling stage.
- A chance to make a direct impact on European security and support Ukraine’s victory.
- Flexible working hours and a supportive, highly motivated team.
- Frequent team-building events, free parking, and a pet-friendly office.
- Private health insurance after the probation period.
- Performance-based bonuses.
- Competitive salary from 4500 EUR (gross) to 5500 EUR (gross), depending on qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
