Scrum Master / Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

We’re supporting a global fintech building open banking and digital financial products, and they’re looking for a Scrum Master / Project Manager to join on a fully remote contract.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll guide agile teams through delivery of high-impact financial products used across banks and fintechs. You’ll be the link between engineering, product, and business, making sure projects run smoothly, on time, and aligned with customer needs.

You won’t just keep the wheels turning, you’ll shape how delivery is done, coach teams on agile practices, and help build a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Supporting product owners with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and user story clarity.
• Creating and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Tracking velocity, progress, risks, and issues and reporting updates to stakeholders.
• Coaching teams on agile principles and helping remove delivery blockers.
• Fostering collaboration across product, engineering, and QA teams to keep work moving.
• Recommending and implementing tools and practices to improve delivery.

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in agile delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, agile frameworks, and project management methodologies.
• Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub (Jenkins a bonus).
• Skilled at communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution.
• Able to manage multiple projects at once and deliver to deadlines.
• Experience working on complex change projects in banking, fintech, or other regulated sectors.
• Flexibility is important you’ll need to align your working days and hours to GCC schedules, which may mean Sunday–Thursday or other regional variations depending on the client.

Nice to Have (but not essential):

• PMI, PRINCE2, or Scrum certifications.
• Exposure to open banking, payments, or API-driven products.
• Experience coaching teams on agile practices at scale.
