Job Title: Fulltime Network Security Engineer

Contract Duration: 04 Years (220 days per year)

Location: Brussels (needs to be within 1hour drive of Brussels because of possible urgent need to go on site)

Working Environment: Hybrid

Languages: English + French OR Dutch

Technical Knowledge required:

• Palo Alto Datacenter firewall clusters with IDS/IPS, decryption, sandboxing, URL filtering, …
• Dynamic routing protocols (BGP)
• Cisco Umbrella
• Algosec Fireflow Analysis & Automation
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins
• Internal management and authentication protocols
• High-availability protocols
• Secure transfer protocols such as SSH, SSL, SFTP, etc.
• The security network engineer must have thorough knowledge of network protocols and will provide second and third-line support for network issues. Excellent knowledge is required of:
• - IPv4/IPv6, HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP,

Experience required:

• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a network engineer in large and complex IT network environments.

Personal Skills required:

• Ability to translate a high-level security policy into concrete architectural components and procedures
• Ability to work on projects independently.
• Ability to function within a multidisciplinary technical team.
• Documentation skills.
• Ability to organize and follow up on meetings and presentations.

Note:

• The candidate should be willing to work outside office hours in exceptional circumstances.
• The candidate can be present at the client location no later than 3 hours after being called by the manager (not during vacation periods).
• The candidate should comply with the teleworking percentage imposed by the client.
