Role Overview: As a Machine Learning Engineer at OptiComm.AI, you’ll help build the intelligence behind the future of commerce. You’ll design and deploy advanced ML and deep learning models that anticipate customer needs before they appear, powering real-time predictions, anomaly detection, and prescriptive insights that reshape how global businesses act and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the Brain of Predictive Commerce: Design, train, and refine advanced ML and deep learning models that power next-order prediction, revenue acceleration, and cost optimization.
• Engineer Intelligence: Craft innovative feature pipelines that turn complex, multi-dimensional data into insights and action.
• Deploy at Scale: Collaborate the team to bring models into production across enterprise environments, fast, reliable, and impact-driven.
• Relentlessly Optimize: Elevate model accuracy, speed, and real-world results through experimentation, validation, and continuous learning.
• Fuse Worlds of Data: Integrate external signals: from economic and demographic to environmental and behavioral, to enrich predictive power.
• Invent What’s Next: Explore emerging ML/AI methods and infuse them into OptiComm.AI’s evolving intelligence engine.
• Lead and Inspire: Mentor fellow engineers, set technical direction, and help shape our growing AI team’s DNA.
• Co-Create with Clients: Partner with implementation teams to tailor predictive models that drive measurable value across industries.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years in machine learning engineering or applied AI roles, thriving in dynamic environments that demand adaptability, autonomy, and initiative.
• Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related technical field.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or scikit-learn.
• Model Development: Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade ML/DL models, demonstrating ownership, proactive problem-solving, and comfort iterating rapidly in changing contexts.
• Time Series Mastery: Expertise in time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
• Data Craftsmanship: Advanced skills in data preparation, feature engineering, and evaluation, able to make progress and deliver value even when requirements evolve or structure is minimal.
• MLOps Mindset: Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Business Fluency: Ability to translate business challenges into high-impact ML solutions, understanding the fast feedback cycles and decision-making speed typical of startup environments.
• Collaboration: Comfortable managing priorities, communicating openly, and collaborating across functions in a fast-moving, high-trust team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with retail, logistics, or supply-chain forecasting
• Expertise in cloud ML ecosystems (Microsoft Fabric, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI)
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning or prescriptive analytics
• Experience processing large-scale data using distributed frameworks
• Knowledge of modern ML infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD
• Experience working with enterprise or B2B environments
• Familiarity with agile principles and appreciation for the collaborative, fast-paced rhythm of startup work.
