Job Title: Senior Engineer - Network & Security | Cloud CoE

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On-site, Govt Entity)

Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Senior Network & Security Engineer to join a strategic project within a government entity in Abu Dhabi. You’ll be part of a Cloud Center of Excellence team, leading the design, implementation, and security of critical infrastructure across on-premises, data center, and Azure public cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy secure network infrastructures (DC fabric, SDN, firewalls)
• Implement Azure landing zone, VPN, ExpressRoute, Sentinel, Security Center
• Lead on-prem to cloud migrations and hybrid connectivity
• Work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, ACI, NSX-T technologies
• Create HLDs, LLDs, test plans, migration documents, runbooks
• Conduct security assessments, compliance alignment (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10 years in network/security roles with Azure cloud experience
• AZ-700 (Must), AZ-500, AZ-305 (Preferred)
• CCNP / CCIE (Preferred), PCNSE or Fortinet NSE (Must)
• Strong knowledge of ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, BGP, Terraform, ARM
• Experience with security monitoring, DR/BCP planning, and documentation
